About

We’re all junkies at heart. Whether it’s about food, family, sports, collecting - you name it - we all have passions and routines. I’m a lover of life and enjoy food, drinks, and trying new things. A top-notch cook? Hardly. However, I’m obsessed with the Food Network and spent a lifetime dining out so I know what good fried food is. Enter air frying. That’s what this blog is all about.

You don’t need to be a great cook to make great food. I always dreaded my kitchen because the whole experience can be quite intimidating. My knife skills are average and my tastes are pretty narrow. And trying to get the times and temperatures right when baking, broiling, grilling, and pan-frying my favorite foods caused me to ditch the effort altogether. The air fryer solves those problems.

I’ve developed dozens of recipes over the past 5+years using my favorite foods, specifically chicken, pork, and potatoes. The variations are endless and I’ll continue to share different ways to prepare them and many other meals, finger foods, and sweets in this blog.

We are what we eat. Well, not exactly. However, I’m a history geek so I’ll routinely add a brief history lesson or fun fact related to each recipe in my post for you.

Embrace trial and error. As the old saying goes “if at first, you don’t succeed, try, try again.” There is no wrong way to air-fry. Simply spray your basket, season your favorite foods, set your time and temperature, and be patient. Once you master simple appetizers and main dishes, you’re ready to move on to desserts (and more). It’s a little trickier but so worth it!

Pair your fried fantastic-ness with fruits and vegetables. Air frying is a healthier way to enjoy your favorite foods, but I’ll always recommend fruits and vegetables with most appetizers and main courses to add some balance and color to your meals.

Most of us need to make inexpensive, tasty food - fast! This blog is designed to share my simple air fryer cooking instructions, sauce choices, plating ideas, and general lifestyle tips!

Regards,
